Room Leader – Early Years Nursery

About the role

Kindred Nurseries is looking for a passionate Room Leader to join its Tring site. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive while supporting a dedicated team of practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Manager and fellow Room Leaders to maintain the highest standards of early years care and education.
• Maintain an organised, safe and stimulating room environment.
• Keep accurate records and follow all procedural requirements.
• Promote the setting as a top choice for families and staff in the local area.
• Model and monitor best practice in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Inspire, coach and develop the team of practitioners.
• Assist with the induction of new team members.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and meet deadlines.
• Full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher.
• Desirable: previous experience leading a team, current paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding and child protection training, and a current food hygiene certificate.
