Rotating Security Officer – Night Shift

About the role

Join JD Group’s Profit and Asset Protection team at the Kingsway Distribution Centre as a Rotating Security Officer. You will work a 4‑on/4‑off night‑shift pattern, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors and company assets while maintaining compliance with security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical patrols across the site to deter unauthorized access and protect assets.
• Perform staff searches and manage visitor/contractor check‑ins in line with company procedures.
• Operate high‑tech security equipment, including CCTV monitoring and incident reporting.
• Inspect and secure supplier vehicles, ensuring they are sealed on arrival and departure.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, witness statements and equipment logs.

Required profile

• A strong safety and security mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships within a team.
• SIA licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous security experience is desirable; full training will be provided.
