ROV Supervisor – Offshore Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to lead the operation and maintenance of Oceaneering’s subsea robotics equipment in Aberdeen. The role involves overseeing Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), workover control systems, tensioning and reel systems, ensuring safe and efficient offshore performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of ROVs, IWOCS/RWOCS, tensioning and reel systems.
• Train and manage ROV operators and crew, schedule work, and maintain communication with offshore site leadership.
• Oversee electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repairs, use test equipment, perform calibration, alignment and corrosion control.
• Maintain inventories of parts and supplies for all electronic, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies.
• Integrate system modifications, design and build mounting and tooling interfaces, and document technical changes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of offshore operations experience with proven competency in ROV systems.
• Technical or associate degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Ability to obtain a valid passport and meet regional offshore work requirements.
• Strong teamwork, problem‑solving and communication skills.
