Roving Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Merseyside team as a roving RVN, providing support to clinics and hospitals across Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Birkenhead and Rhyl. The role offers variety and the chance to work with different clinical teams while delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care across first‑opinion clinics and hospitals.
• Support inpatient patients and care for hospitalised animals.
• Work within theatre, assisting with anaesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Assist clinical teams during busy periods and adapt to varying caseloads.
• Collaborate with different RVNs, veterinarians and support staff across multiple sites.
• Maintain high standards of patient and client care in diverse environments.

Required profile

• Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
• Confident working across different clinical environments and teams.
• Adaptable, organised and able to manage changing priorities.
• Strong communicator who works well with colleagues.
• Passionate about delivering excellent patient care and comfortable with travel between sites.
