RQF Centre Assessor (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role
St Elizabeth's Centre is seeking an experienced RQF Centre Assessor to join its Learning & Development team. You will support learners throughout their qualification journey, ensuring high‑quality assessment and helping staff build confidence, capability and competence across health, social care and education services.
Key responsibilities
- Assess knowledge and competency‑based qualifications through observation, professional discussion and portfolio evidence.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner development.
- Monitor and track learner progress to ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
- Build effective relationships with managers to support workforce development.
- Manage a caseload, plan assessments and maintain accurate records.
- Support delivery of learning sessions when required.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and maintain compliance with awarding‑body standards.
Required profile
- Confident, organised professional with a strong commitment to developing others.
- Recognised Assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent).
- Experience assessing vocational qualifications within health, social care or education.
- Ability to assess workplace practice and evidence effectively.
