Safeguarding Children Lead – Fixed Term (Norfolk)

About the role

The Safeguarding Children Lead will join the Norfolk Safeguarding Team on a secondment/fixed‑term basis. Working across the locality leadership team, the Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub and specialist children’s services, the role provides safeguarding support, training and supervision to Trust staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safeguarding guidance, training and supervision to staff across the Trust.
• Collaborate with the locality leadership team and the Norfolk Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub.
• Support the wider children’s safeguarding team and specialist services.
• Travel independently across Norfolk, adapting to changing travel arrangements.
• Maintain a full, current driving licence and access to personal transport.

Required profile

• Significant experience and knowledge of children’s safeguarding.
• Motivated, experienced practitioner able to work flexibly.
• Willingness to travel daily across rural and urban areas.
• Ability to work under short‑notice changes and adapt to a large geographic area.

• Full, current driving licence.
• Access to personal vehicle.
