About the role

Join Nestlé’s Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Apprenticeship and embark on an 18‑month, full‑time journey in a leading food and drink manufacturer. Based in Dalston (Cumbria) and York (North Yorkshire), you will work on‑site with occasional travel to other Nestlé locations, gaining real‑world experience in SHE across a complex manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support SHE professionals in delivering training and safety communications.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to the development of SHE documentation and procedures.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and environmental initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement practical SHE solutions.

Required profile

• Strong interest in safety, health, and environmental protection.
• Motivation to learn and develop within a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills are mandated; training will be provided.
