About the role

EdEx is recruiting for a high‑performing school in Hounslow for its Aspiring Maths Teacher Programme. This salaried training route offers a gradual entry into teaching, ideal for candidates new to the classroom who want a supportive, structured pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students in Key Stages 3‑4, focusing on raising attainment.
• Deliver GCSE and A‑Level intervention sessions.
• Maintain a teaching load of around eight periods per week, increasing as you develop.
• Participate in one dedicated training day each week.

Required profile

• Minimum 2:2 degree in Mathematics or a related subject from a reputable university.
• Strong A‑Level and GCSE results across the board.
• Previous experience supporting learners (e.g., tutoring, teaching assistant).
• Ability to engage and motivate students with a commitment to succeed.
