Salaried General Practitioner – 6 Sessions per Week

About the role

Bellyeoman Surgery is seeking a salaried General Practitioner to join a large, friendly practice in Dunfermline. The role comprises six sessions per week on working days to be confirmed, operating under the BMA model contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality primary care to a practice list of approximately 11,350 patients.
• Conduct surgeries, manage chronic disease clinics and contribute to duty doctor sessions on a pro‑rata basis.
• Participate in training of medical students and FY2 doctors.
• Optionally undertake private medical reports and extended‑hours work to increase remuneration.
• Complete required paperwork and support practice administration as needed.

Required profile

• Fully qualified GP registered with the GMC.
• Experience working under the BMA salaried GP model or similar contract.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and collaborative team working.
• Desire for a balanced work‑life environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS clinical system.
• Experience using Docman and eConsult platforms.
• Willingness to transition to Vision system in 2027.
