Salaried General Practitioner (GP) Position

About the role

We are seeking a salaried General Practitioner to join our primary care team at Eyam Surgery. The role involves providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care across all ages, from routine consultations to urgent and end‑of‑life care, within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver safe and effective treatment in both routine and urgent care settings.
• Collaborate with practice nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants and care coordinators to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in service development, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web clinical system.

Required profile

• Fully qualified medical doctor with a licence to practise as a GP.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑focused care.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS Web clinical software.
