Salaried General Practitioner (GP) – Rural Practice

About the role

Join a friendly, forward‑thinking rural practice serving around 3,600 patients in Presteigne, Powys. This salaried GP position offers realistic workloads, continuity of care and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality primary care to the registered patient list.
• Manage appointments using a well‑structured system to ensure sustainable workload.
• Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists and other clinicians within the Primary Care Cluster.
• Participate in CPD, appraisal and revalidation activities supported by the practice.
• Optional: Contribute to out‑of‑hours GP services as a member of Shropdoc.

Required profile

• Fully qualified General Practitioner, newly qualified or experienced.
• Commitment to providing patient‑centred care in a rural setting.
• Willingness to engage in teaching, mentoring or leadership opportunities.
