Sales Administrator – 8‑week temporary contract

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Administrator to join our busy sales team on an initial eight‑week contract, with a strong chance of extension or conversion to a longer‑term position. This fast‑paced role involves supporting the sales function through efficient order processing and customer communication.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day sales administration support to a busy sales function.
• Handle a high volume of outbound calls for order confirmation, follow‑ups and customer service.
• Process orders, quotes and amendments accurately and promptly.
• Update and maintain CRM records and sales spreadsheets.
• Resolve customer queries and escalate issues to the sales team as needed.
• Support handover and continuity while team members transition in or out.
• Assist with ad‑hoc admin tasks to keep the sales pipeline flowing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales administration or a customer‑facing back‑office role.
• Confident phone manner with experience making outbound calls at scale.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
• Comfortable working in a temporary, fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Reliable, flexible and able to start promptly for the duration of the contract.
