Sales Administrator – Customer Account Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Administrator to support our lead Account Manager. You will ensure excellent customer service, smooth sales processes, and effective management of customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and sales support to the lead Account Manager.
• Set up and maintain pricing in the in‑house system according to approved agreements.
• Prepare accurate customer quotations and issue them within agreed service levels.
• Follow up sales enquiries to maximise conversion rates and improve customer satisfaction.
• Contact existing and prospective customers to arrange appointments and support development initiatives.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, generating sales leads and revenue growth.
• Review and manage outstanding customer orders, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
• Liaise with the wider team and suppliers to obtain pricing, product availability, and lead times.
• Work closely with customers and the lead Account Manager to resolve pricing queries promptly.
• Monitor customer purchasing trends, identify reductions in spending, and support retention and account management activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service, or account support.
• Excellent organisational skills.
