Sales Administrator – Freight Forwarding (Heathrow)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Administrator to join a growing freight forwarding business in Heathrow. Working closely with the Business Development team, you will help generate new business opportunities and support the commercial function.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telephone prospecting to potential customers.
• Generate qualified sales opportunities for the Business Development team.
• Arrange appointments and manage diaries for Business Development Managers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.
• Follow up on marketing campaigns, enquiries and sales leads.
• Communicate the company’s freight forwarding services confidently.
• Work towards agreed activity and appointment targets.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in freight forwarding operations, telesales, telemarketing or sales support.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent organisation and time‑management abilities.
• Full right to work in the UK.

What we offer

• Salary up to £33,000 per year, plus commission.
• Hybrid working after successful probation.
