Sales Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a dynamic team in Sherburn in Elmet, West Yorkshire. The role is essential for the smooth running of the sales department, providing flexible and enthusiastic support to maintain a high‑quality service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team by managing enquiries, preparing quotations, following up with clients, and handling sales administration.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email while maintaining internal records and spreadsheets.
• Assist with marketing content and contribute to securing long‑term client agreements.
• Coordinate live event projects by preparing documentation, arranging logistics, and liaising with clients, crew, and operations teams.
• Manage project administration including RAMS, health & safety documentation, plant hire, travel, and accommodation bookings.
• Support project delivery by monitoring budgets, coordinating additional client requirements, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Strong customer service, organisation and time‑management skills.
• High accuracy, good numeracy and attention to detail for precise data entry.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Good working knowledge of computers, Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and manage own workload.
• Team player who can also work independently.
