Sales Administrator (Part‑Time, 25 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organised Sales Administrator to join a well‑established company in Aylesford. This part‑time, office‑based role offers a temp‑to‑perm pathway and an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Take secure customer payments.
• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email.
• Record enquiries, interactions and resolutions in line with company procedures.
• Prepare sales quotations, invoices and other sales documentation.
• Support the Office Manager with day‑to‑day administrative duties.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure orders are processed and fulfilled efficiently.
• Assist with dispatch and delivery enquiries.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales team and undertake additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence in taking orders over the phone and responding to enquiries.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
• Flexibility to work occasional additional hours during the busy period (September to December).

Required skills

• Good IT literacy and the ability to learn in‑house systems quickly.
