About the role

Join H&T Pawnbrokers as a Store Colleague, the friendly face of one of the UK’s leading pawnbrokers and jewellery retailers. You’ll work in a busy store on West Rd, Newcastle, helping customers with pawnbroking, retail sales and financial products while delivering a high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and welcoming attitude.
• Assist customers with pawnbroking transactions, retail sales, and financial product enquiries.
• Maintain compliance standards and ensure the store is presented to a high standard.
• Accurately handle cash and transaction processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales and KPI targets.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in helping people and strong sense of integrity.
• Willingness to learn and undergo full training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Multilingual ability is a plus but not mandatory.

• Starting salary £12.75 per hour (£24,863 per year) rising to £13.44 after training.
