Sales Assistant – Part‑time (8 hrs/week)

About the role

Join our Barnet store as a Sales Assistant, working 8 hours each week to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to every customer. You’ll be the first point of contact, helping shoppers find what they need and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tills, providing efficient and courteous checkout, and carefully pack fragile items.
• Assist customers on the shop floor, offering product advice and inspiring additional purchases.
• Use iPad systems to place home‑delivery orders when items are out of stock and support the Made‑to‑Measure curtains and blinds service.
• Receive deliveries, check stock, replenish shelves, maintain visual displays and update pricing.
• Contribute to styling key areas such as bedding displays to showcase product ranges.
