Sales Assistant – Part‑time Fixed‑term (Retail)

About the role

Join Topps Tiles as a Sales Assistant on a fixed‑term, part‑time basis. You will work in a supportive store team, helping customers visualise and realise their tile projects while earning commission on each sale. The role offers a regular schedule with no late‑evening shifts and three days off at Christmas.

Key responsibilities

• Build long‑standing relationships with trade and retail customers using a consultative sales approach.
• Ask the right questions to understand customer needs and confidently recommend the best products.
• Use creativity to inspire customers with colour, style, layout and design ideas.
• Drive sales through expert product knowledge and confident closing techniques.
• Maximise every sales opportunity and achieve targets.

Required profile

• Outgoing, friendly and energetic attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and handle physical store tasks.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and develop sales skills.
