Sales Assistant – Part‑time Retail Role

About the role
Join Topps Tiles as a Sales Assistant (Service Specialist) in Harrogate, working 20 hours per week in a supportive retail environment. You will help customers visualise their projects and guide them to the right tile solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Build long‑term relationships with trade and retail customers using a consultative sales approach.
- Ask targeted questions to understand needs and recommend the best products.
- Inspire customers with colour, style, layout and design ideas.
- Drive sales through expert product knowledge and confident closing.
Required profile
- Outgoing, friendly and energetic personality.
- Willingness to lift heavy boxes and work occasional weekends.
- No prior retail or tile experience required – training will be provided.

- Competitive hourly rate (£10.85 – £12.71) plus personal sales commission.
