Sales Assistant – Retail (Derby)

About the role

Join the Derby store team as a Sales Assistant, working part‑time (5 hours per week) to support store management and drive sales. You will represent the Ryman brand, delivering excellent customer service while helping the store meet its revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, sharing product knowledge and promotions with customers.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and returns professionally to retain loyalty.
• Achieve and exceed KPIs set by store management.
• Engage with shoppers, identify needs and recommend suitable products, including upselling.
• Replenish stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and store housekeeping.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety policies.
