Sales Assistant – Retail (Temporary)

About the role

As a Sales Assistant at Lush you will be the welcoming face of the store, creating a fun and engaging shopping experience for customers. You will use your product knowledge to give personalised recommendations, perform demonstrations and hand out samples. The role offers flexible shifts and a competitive hourly rate based on the Living Wage.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Provide personalised product recommendations and conduct on‑skin demonstrations.
• Distribute tailored samples to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist in planning and hosting inclusive in‑store events.
• Keep the shop floor clean, tidy and visually appealing.
• Support sales targets by promoting products creatively and working collaboratively with the team.
• Manage stock levels efficiently and ensure shelves are well‑stocked.
• Control store costs, including minimizing product waste.
