Sales Associate

About the role

We are looking for a confident, customer‑focused Sales Associate to join our friendly team at the Arndale Shopping Centre in Manchester. You will help shoppers find the perfect mattress or bed, provide expert advice and create a welcoming in‑store experience. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) with a part‑time option available, and includes a competitive hourly rate plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and genuine interest.
• Offer expert advice on the range of mattresses and beds, explaining features, benefits and differences.
• Close sales using a consultative, customer‑first approach.
• Suggest complementary products and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain a tidy, inviting showroom that reflects the brand’s high standards.

Required profile

• Approachable, enthusiastic and enjoys helping people.
• Pride in delivering great service without being pushy.
• Experience in retail, sales or customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging manner.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
