Sales & Business Development Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Business Development Assistant to support the growth of our credit control firm in Glasgow. This full‑time, office‑based role offers flexibility for study or caring responsibilities and clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new prospects, market trends and business opportunities through research and data analysis.
• Conduct initial outreach to prospective clients, follow up on leads and arrange meetings for senior management.
• Assist with planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including drafting marketing materials and social media content.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of client information, leads and sales activity.
• Collaborate with management to support business development strategies and growth initiatives.
• Monitor sales activity, prepare regular reports and provide insights to management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales support or business development, or a degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
