Sales Consultant – Rail Sector (Winnersh)

About the role

As a Sales Consultant focused on the rail sector, you will build technical expertise and market awareness to identify and develop new business opportunities. Working from our Winnersh office, you will recruit white‑collar professionals such as Project Managers, Project Engineers and Design Engineers for both contract and permanent positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a personal recruitment desk, generating a pipeline of candidates and client contacts.
• Source, interview and place professionals across planning, design, commercial, HSQE, and project management functions within the rail industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand hiring needs and deliver suitable talent.
• Drive sales activities, including prospecting, client outreach, and proposal preparation.

• Proven experience in sales or recruitment, preferably within a specialist sector.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
