Sales Coordinator – Customer-Focused Commercial Role

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business for a Sales Coordinator who will provide first‑class support to the commercial team. You will act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, prepare accurate quotations and help drive the sales pipeline in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate customer quotations and pricing proposals.
• Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely responses.
• Maintain and update CRM/ERP records with sales information.
• Produce sales reports, documentation and commercial correspondence.
• Assist with tender submissions and customer proposals.
• Liaise with engineering, production, purchasing and other internal departments to meet customer requirements.
• Support order processing from enquiry through to delivery.
• Follow up quotations and help sustain the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Sales Coordinator, Sales Administrator, Internal Sales or similar support role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in commercial documentation.
