Sales Coordinator – Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Coordinator to join a specialist supplier of drives, motors, control systems and related industrial products. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, you will support the sales team by handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations and coordinating engineering visits across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Answer initial customer queries and provide product information.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales quotations.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of information.
• Arrange engineers for on‑site visits and support the external sales team.
• Maintain customer records and assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing and scheduling.

Required profile

• Experience as a Sales Coordinator or similar role within an engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial products such as drives, motors and control systems.
• Ability to build long‑term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
