Sales Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our UK sales team in Maidstone while covering a maternity leave. The role involves working closely with Account Managers, Supply Chain and other cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day sales operations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter and manage customer orders in internal ERP systems.
• Align supply and demand by collaborating with Account Managers and Supply Chain.
• Monitor order status and make proactive adjustments as needed.
• Identify and flag potential issues that could lead to claims or invoice corrections.
• Maintain and update sales databases, trackers and reports.
• Provide analysis and insights to support Account Managers.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance and transportation departments.
• Communicate with customers to manage expectations regarding orders and availability.
• Support continuous improvement of internal processes.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).
