Sales Development Team Lead – Outbound Coaching (London)

About the role

The Sales Development Team Lead will own the outbound function end‑to‑end, balancing hands‑on selling with team leadership. You’ll spend roughly 30% of your time on personal sales activity while coaching a team of four SDRs to maximise performance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the outbound sales process from prospecting to qualification.
• Conduct personal cold‑calling and outreach activities.
• Manage, mentor and coach a team of four SDRs through call reviews and one‑to‑ones.
• Develop and continuously refine the outbound playbook and targeting criteria.
• Monitor team metrics and implement improvements to raise performance.

Required profile

• Minimum two years managing an SDR or BDR team in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in direct outbound sales, especially cold calling.
• Player‑coach mindset – comfortable selling while leading.
• Background in a high‑growth, VC‑backed SaaS company.
