Sales Director – Electronics Components

About the role

The Sales Director will lead the commercial strategy for a respected international technology business specialising in electronic component solutions. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive revenue growth across the UK and overseas while building long‑term partnerships with OEMs, manufacturers and key industry customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a commercial plan to achieve ambitious growth targets.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand existing customer relationships in sectors such as defence, aerospace, industrial, medical and communications.
• Lead strategic account management, new business development and channel partner engagement.
• Collaborate with international suppliers, engineering teams and technical experts to deliver innovative solutions.
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and travel for UK and international business development.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Director or senior sales leader within the electronics components industry.
• Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of selling complex technical solutions to OEMs.
• Deep understanding of defence and industrial markets.
• Eligibility to work in the UK defence sector (British passport required).
