Sales Director – UK Business Development

About the role

We are supporting a fast‑growing organisation in the facilities management sector and are looking for a driven Sales Director to lead UK business development. This hands‑on position combines strategic leadership with direct ownership of new‑business growth, offering an excellent opportunity to shape commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the UK sales growth strategy and achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain senior‑level client relationships.
• Oversee Business Development and Account Management teams.
• Drive CRM usage, accurate forecasting and commercial KPI reporting.
• Lead negotiations, proposals and contract discussions.
• Maintain a high‑quality sales pipeline and improve sales processes.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.
• Contribute to long‑term commercial strategy and market development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales leadership, business development and account management within the UK market.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets.
• Ability to build and lead high‑performing commercial teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
