Sales Engineer – Heavy Mechanical

About the role
Join a nationally recognised company as a Sales Engineer specialising in heavy mechanical equipment. You will receive full training on niche torque and hydraulic tools, giving you the expertise to become a trusted advisor to high‑calibre clients across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site assessments and fault finding for torque and non‑torque applications.
- Travel to customer sites to provide technical assistance and drive sales.
- Organise and manage your own diary, covering a patch within a two‑hour radius of your home.
- Work Monday‑Thursday 8‑5 and Friday 8‑4.
Required profile
- Background as a Sales Engineer in heavy mechanical environments.
- Strong understanding of torque concepts and equipment.
- Desire for a field‑based role covering the North West region.
Required skills
- Torque tools operation
- Hydraulic press handling
- Fault diagnosis and testing equipment usage
- Technical sales and customer liaison
