Sales Engineer – Heavy Plant & Industrial

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to cover a South‑East England patch, working directly with customers on‑site. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, recommend testing equipment and generate new business opportunities while receiving full training on specialist torque and hydraulic press equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site assessments and fault finding for torque and non‑torque applications.
• Travel to customer sites such as ships, submarines and wind turbines to provide technical assistance and sales support.
• Manage your own diary, organise visits and maintain a personal sales pipeline.
• Recommend appropriate testing and calibration equipment to clients.

Required profile

• Experience as a Sales Engineer in the plant or heavy‑industrial sector.
• Solid understanding of torque concepts and related equipment.
• Motivation for a field‑based role covering the South‑East region.
