Sales Engineer (Low Voltage / Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with a low‑voltage electrical background to join a global manufacturer of critical power and energy‑efficiency solutions. Based in the South West, you will work autonomously, building long‑term relationships with OEMs, system integrators and distributors while developing specialist expertise in a high‑growth sector.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and nurture existing accounts across the South West region.
• Provide technical advice, product training and support to customers.
• Prepare accurate quotations and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Travel throughout Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Cornwall, Devon, South Wales and surrounding areas.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience or a strong sales orientation.
• Electrical qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel across the South West.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage electrical systems knowledge.
• Critical power solution expertise.
• Power monitoring product familiarity.
