Sales Engineer – Marine Engine Controls

About the role
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join a specialist engineering group that designs and supplies advanced engine control, power management and automation solutions for the commercial marine sector. Based in the South of England, you will combine technical expertise with a consultative sales approach to win new business and manage key accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new business across the Southern UK marine market.
- Manage strategic customer accounts from enquiry through to project delivery.
- Sell engine control, automation and power management solutions to commercial vessels, offshore assets and marine power systems.
- Visit ports, shipyards, vessel operators and marine engineering customers on a field‑based schedule.
- Travel regularly within the UK and occasionally internationally.
Required profile
- Background in marine engineering, power generation or industrial engineering.
- Technical sales experience or a strong engineering background looking to move into a customer‑facing role.
- Full UK driving licence.
Required skills
- Experience with engine control systems.
- Knowledge of automation and power management solutions.
- Technical sales capability.
