Sales Engineer – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

About the role

Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join its Reading branch. You will drive business growth by securing new contracts and nurturing existing client relationships within the refrigeration and air‑conditioning market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Visit client sites regularly to assess needs and provide expert advice.
• Design HVAC systems that meet client specifications and produce accurate quotations.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, managing budgets and resources effectively.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in refrigeration, air‑conditioning, chillers or AHU equipment.
• Strong customer‑relationship management background within the HVAC industry.
• Excellent technical knowledge of a wide range of HVAC systems.
• High financial and commercial awareness with the ability to manage large budgets.
• Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to continuous customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
