Sales Engineer – Technical Sales (Measuring Solutions)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join a fast‑growing provider of measuring solutions serving sectors such as aerospace, automotive and food. Based in the UK, you will combine technical expertise with a consultative sales approach, travelling internationally up to three months a year, typically in two‑week blocks.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales to meet agreed targets, managing existing accounts and generating new business.
• Travel internationally and visit customers, supporting local representatives and handling direct sales.
• Deliver technical product demonstrations and run trials at customer sites.
• Provide installation support, on‑site training and ongoing technical assistance.
• Identify customer requirements and propose optimal solutions through a consultative approach.
• Generate leads, develop new market routes and increase brand awareness.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technical solutions, consumables or components.
• Background in B2B technical sales of capital equipment, components or services.
• Knowledge of measuring systems is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with food, automotive or aerospace markets is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to travel overseas regularly.
