Sales Engineer – Technical Sales – Water Treatment (EPC)

About the role

We are looking for a technical sales professional to develop new business across the EPC market for water‑treatment solutions. The role is home‑based covering the UK and Ireland, with occasional travel to our head office and customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with EPC contractors.
• Build relationships with consultants, contractors and end‑users to uncover future projects.
• Engage customers early in the project lifecycle to influence specifications.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through quotation, negotiation and award.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to create compliant, commercially viable solutions.
• Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure proposed systems meet requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and technical proposals.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute to business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling into the EPC market.
• Strong consultative sales approach with ability to manage long sales cycles.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supported by a technical team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and site visits.
