Sales Executive – Automotive Aftermarket (UK)

About the role

This field‑based position supports and grows automotive aftermarket accounts across the United Kingdom. You will work closely with an experienced Sales Director and Sales Manager, gaining exposure to key customers, market strategy and aftermarket operations.

Key responsibilities

• Sustain and develop a portfolio of distributors and motor factors, providing accurate sales information and product updates.
• Grow sales by strengthening relationships with motor factor networks, buying groups and trading groups.
• Identify new opportunities within the aftermarket distribution channel and present recommendations.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and internal teams regarding orders, forecasts and commercial updates.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, branch visits and industry events.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and category performance to support planning.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and performance updates using Excel and BI tools (training provided).
• Collaborate with the Sales Director to set sales plans and track performance against targets.

Required profile

• Strong experience in the automotive aftermarket, preferably with motor factors, distributors or buying groups.
• Target‑driven mindset with the ability to build long‑term commercial relationships.
• Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
