Sales Executive

About the role

Join Better’s Bournemouth office as a Sales Executive and help generate new business for a leading telecommunications solutions provider. You will work closely with the field sales team, turning inbound interest into qualified appointments with senior decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospects using pre‑qualified data sets.
• Engage decision‑makers quickly, creating awareness of Better’s products and services.
• Gather information on prospect needs, budget and decision‑making process.
• Assess qualification against defined criteria and schedule appointments for the field team.
• Follow up via calls or emails to nurture leads that need additional engagement.
• Maintain accurate interaction records in the CRM system.
• Stay up‑to‑date on product features and benefits to articulate value propositions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in telemarketing, outbound sales or similar customer‑facing role.
• Confident communicator able to engage senior decision‑makers within the first 30 seconds.
• Resilient mindset with the ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
• Target‑driven attitude, comfortable working towards KPIs.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and eager to learn and progress.

Required skills

• Strong verbal communication and active listening.
• Ability to use a CRM system for tracking interactions.
