Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join a fast‑growing audiovisual solutions provider in Reading. You will be responsible for driving new business and expanding high‑value accounts across the AV and IT sectors, working closely with IT Directors, Facilities Managers and fit‑out contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors, focusing on AV and IT solutions.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and grow the client base.
• Engage with key decision‑makers, understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring accurate forecasting.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of high‑value accounts, conducting regular client reviews.
• Collaborate with marketing on account‑focused campaigns and support junior sales team members.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and attend networking events to boost brand presence.
• Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that meet client requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ B2B sales experience, ideally within the AV sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience working with office fit‑out companies, contractors and IT teams is highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Right to live and work in the UK.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of AV products and solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
