About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to join our Plymouth team, focusing on talent identification within the insurance and finance markets. You will work alongside experienced consultants, building long‑term relationships with both clients and high‑calibre candidates while developing a rewarding career in recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Approach and engage senior professionals in the insurance sector.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients and candidates.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and market research.
• Attend client meetings, represent Emerald professionally and expand partnerships.
• Provide expert market insight and advice as a trusted consultant.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer negotiation and placement.
• Identify new market opportunities through business development.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance when handling sensitive information.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in talent identification or sales.
• Commercially minded and results‑driven.
• Resilient, service‑oriented and able to build strong relationships.
• Motivated to continuously develop skills and pursue a long‑term recruitment career.
