Sales Executive

About the role

Our client is a well‑established UK membership organisation seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to join their growing team. The role focuses on generating and converting new membership opportunities while promoting the organisation’s services and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage self‑employed professionals and independent business owners to grow membership numbers.
• Build and manage a personal pipeline of prospective members.
• Follow up on marketing‑generated leads and convert enquiries into memberships.
• Achieve growth and revenue targets set by the Director of Membership.
• Communicate the benefits of membership and tailor conversations to prospects’ needs.
• Maintain accurate activity records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Collaborate with colleagues to raise awareness and generate new leads.
• Contribute to membership growth strategies and sales initiatives.
• Attend events and networking opportunities across the UK as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or membership sales.
• Track record of achieving targets and closing opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated approach with confidence to work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Results‑oriented mindset with strong numerical and commercial awareness.
• Experience using CRM systems is advantageous.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £28,000 – £30,000 per year.
• Attractive commission scheme with realistic OTE of £40,000 – £50,000 per year.
• Flexible hybrid working arrangement with regular office attendance in Central London.
