Sales Executive – Lead Generation & Business Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our growing team in Ampfield. The role focuses on lead generation, business development and appointment setting for B2B services, offering a clear path to a successful sales career.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research target organisations to uncover new business opportunities.
• Generate high‑quality leads using telephone prospecting, email campaigns, LinkedIn and networking events.
• Qualify prospects and book appointments for the field sales team.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update the CRM system regularly.
• Follow up on enquiries, nurture relationships and work towards lead‑generation and appointment‑setting KPIs.
• Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to maximise conversion rates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in lead generation, business development, telemarketing, inside sales or appointment setting (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
