Sales Ledger Assistant – Finance Team (Milton Keynes)

About the role

Our client is seeking a Sales Ledger Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a keen eye for detail, and wants to develop a career in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and process customer invoices
• Allocate incoming payments
• Manage customer accounts and perform reconciliations
• Chase outstanding invoices and support credit control activities
• Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Provide general support to the finance department

Required profile

• Previous experience in Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, or a similar finance role
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of working with people
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
• Positive, can‑do attitude
