Sales Ledger Clerk – Finance Team

About the role

You will work in a small finance team in East Leeds, handling all aspects of the Sales Ledger. Reporting to the Sales Ledger Supervisor, you will ensure invoices are processed accurately and outstanding debt is chased within agreed timeframes.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and process resident fee invoices accurately across multiple sites and entities.
• Allocate invoices to the correct accounts and maintain accurate resident account records.
• Process fee uplifts, adjustments, credits, refunds and account amendments.
• Code all income transactions to the relevant site and nominal ledger.
• Carry out first‑stage credit control, chasing overdue payments professionally.
• Allocate incoming payments and remittances to client/customer accounts.
• Reconcile sales ledger balances, funding statements and assist with month‑end procedures.
• Liaise with site managers and operational teams to ensure accurate admissions, billing and funding information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales ledger or accounts receivable processing.
• Based in or willing to work in the Leeds area.
• Eligibility to work in the UK full‑time without restriction.
