Sales Ledger Controller – Office based in High Wycombe

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Ledger Controller to join a friendly, multi‑site business headquartered in High Wycombe. This full‑time, office‑based position offers the chance to take ownership of client accounts and directly support the company’s cash‑flow health.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate 800‑1000 payments per month, ensuring cash flow remains healthy.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and post payments accurately.
• Handle statements, scanning, filing and maintain clear records.
• Work closely with the Sales Ledger Manager and team to chase outstanding accounts.
• Resolve client queries, raise credit notes when required, and communicate with wider business teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure smooth payment processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales ledger or finance functions.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and a natural problem‑solver.
• Confident, professional communicator with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
