Sales Ledger Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Team Leader to oversee our accounts receivable function. You will manage day‑to‑day ledger operations, ensure accurate cash receipt allocations and drive continuous improvement across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Sales Ledger function and develop the ledger team.
• Allocate cash receipts, perform reconciliations and manage outstanding debtor accounts.
• Prepare aged debtor reports and support timely recovery of balances.
• Handle the Sales Ledger inbox, responding to customer and stakeholder queries promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Housing and Finance, to resolve account issues and improve processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales ledger or accounts receivable, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
• Proactive communicator who builds positive relationships.
