Sales Manager – Engineering

About the role

Are you a relationship‑driven Business Development professional with a passion for growing partnerships and delivering commercial success? You will play a key role in growing membership and affiliate partnerships across the business, influencing strategic growth. The position offers a competitive salary of £55,000‑£60,000 plus bonus and benefits, and the chance to work alongside industry leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Grow existing member and affiliate accounts through relationship management, upselling, and cross‑selling.
• Identify new business opportunities and promote the organisation's full range of services and subscriptions.
• Build strong client relationships, represent the organisation at industry events, and encourage engagement.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, manage sales pipelines, and provide commercial reporting and market insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, or Relationship Management.
• Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and account growth skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercially driven, organised, and willing to travel across the UK; experience in professional services, engineering, or building services is advantageous.
