Sales Manager – Estate Agency

About the role

Join a well‑established independent estate agency in Bath as a Sales Manager. You will lead the sales function, grow the business and maintain the agency’s strong reputation in the local property market.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business, conduct property valuations and secure instructions.
• Manage your own sales pipeline from instruction through to completion.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, buyers and prospective clients.
• Monitor sales activity, identify opportunities and maximise performance.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales process.
• Represent the business professionally within the local community.
• Manage and support one member of the sales team, providing guidance and encouragement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a residential estate agency, ideally as a Senior Negotiator, Valuer or Sales Manager.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business in the Bath market.
• Experience mentoring or managing at least one direct report.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive and results‑driven.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

What we offer

• Salary £30,000–£35,000 with OTE up to £38,000.
• Monday‑Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, occasional Saturday work.
• Paid business mileage and vehicle use.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
